Over £900 million in government funding will boost both major sporting events and grassroots sports across the UK as part of the Plan for Change. This includes more than £500 million for hosting world-class events like UEFA EURO 2028 and the Tour de France, and at least £400 million for upgrading local sports facilities nationwide.
